Our Immigration Attorney
Our founding attorney was born outside the United States and came here the same way many of our clients do. She earned her first law degree in Europe, then completed her LL.M., an advanced law degree, at a leading American law school. She has personally been through the F-1 student visa process, so the forms, the deadlines, and the uncertainty are not abstract to her.
Before private practice she spent nine combined years inside the international student and scholar offices of two U.S. universities, advising students and scholars day in and day out. Over the past several years she has focused her practice on the matters that change lives: family-based green cards, naturalization, VAWA, E-2 investor and H-1B work visas, and merit-based green cards like the National Interest Waiver and extraordinary-ability cases.
Because U.S. immigration law is federal, she represents clients across the United States and around the world, including referrals from other attorneys. Clients describe her as thorough, calm, and genuinely caring. She will tell you honestly whether she can help, and she treats every case, and every person, with the seriousness it deserves.
When a case calls for it, she can draw on a network of other attorneys and professional translators. This support is generally included in the fee for the work itself, not billed as a separate cost.
